Photo Story and Processing:
First light with the L-eXtreme filter and first attempt trying to process an image in the pseudo–Hubble Palette. This was my backup. I was going to go across the street and try to capture Rho Ophiuchus with 50 mm lens and iOptron Sky-guider Pro. Didn't feel comfortable due to the wind (over 10 mph) even though it was predicted to settle down after midnight. I setup the imaging rig on the sturdier EQ6-R Pro. Decided to try out the L-eXtreme and wasn't expecting to get an image. Was able to get autofocus and plate solving working. Messed around with exposure settings while waiting for NGC 7000 to rise high enough. Started imaging around midnight. The wind settled down and guiding was excellent. Data looked amazing so I kept going until 3 am. Tried the "Hubble palette" for dual narrowband method shared by a member of the astronomy club I belong to. Processed in PixInsight with some finishing touches in Photoshop.
