On the occasion of the 64th Foundation Day Celebration of Palli Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Agriculture), Visva-Bharati, on 1st September 2026, "Samprasaran (January–June 2026 issue)", the magazine of the Department of Agricultural Extension, is released by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Prabir Kumar Ghosh, Chief Guest Dr. K.G. Mandal, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CTIJAF, Barrackpore & Former Director, ICAR-MGIFRI, Motihari, and Prof. P C. Kole, Principal, PSB. The issue focuses on the theme “Digital Extension and Its Recent Advancements” and brings together informative articles on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), SocialMedia, Precision Agriculture, Drones, Decision Support Systems, AgriStack, Bharat-VISTAAR and e-NAM. It also highlights the applications of digital technologies in crop agriculture, fisheries, dairy and livestock. Through this issue, Samprasaran seeks to promote knowledge sharing, innovation and meaningful dialogue in agricultural extension, while strengthening the connection between technology, extension professionals and farming communities
