In September 2024, SEIU Local 721 had two events going on for which we saw an opportunity to cross up for cultural activations. The first event was a Family Picnic, and we created space for members and their families to participate in making a ‘parachute mural’ among other things. Then, 3 days later, those artworks became part of a rally for their bargaining campaign for LA County workers.
