*6603-235 STRATTON BROS No. 1 level. 24", fully brassbound mahogany, both vials intact and look original. Brass has tarnished and wood has quite a bit of staining and wear to lacquer. Good- (HAN559) 15-30 6603-236 R-D COMPANY Anglevel IOB. Marked "Patent Pending," maker is out of Flint, MI. Aluminum frame level with yellow plastic front dial in center with red pointer inside to determine angle, and top and side double levels on either end. Looks mint, in veneer edged wood box with dark stain and brass hinges, some wear and corner of veneer missing. Haven't seen many, much less in box. Mint (NHF364) 35-70 6603-237 RABONE sighting level. 8" rosewood body with brass ends and front plate, side level, clearly Rabone but not marked. Some light rust on screws and top level vial dry but side one ok. Wood and brass both good. Good (EMN5) 30-60 6603-238 P.H.VOGEL aluminum level. Patented in 1919 and sold for a short period by the Vogel company of New Britain, which was sold to Chapin-Stephens and ultimately acquired by Stanley. The ones with the original Vogel mark are rarest which this one has. 18" aluminum frame similar to Figure 13-12 on pg. 199 of Rosebrook's "American Levels" book but this one is missing a side level, other two are ok. Japanning 70%, some dinging but otherwise in nice condition. Good (PRK141) 40-80 6603-239 GOODELL-PRATT No. 4524 brassbound level. 24" mahogany stock with only minor dinging, slight tarnish to some brass, all vials wet.
