*6603-300 PECK STOW & WILCOX patented tool handle. Patented by Obed Peck on March 20, 1888, and marked as such on tool. Consists of wood handle with two cast iron plates with wingnuts and bolts that grip square auger heads. Some staining and wear, has 1-1/4" spur auger bit in it. Plus we're throwing in a 48" iron auger handle with double-end threaded connector at end and a 3/4" spur auger bit screwed in in case you need to drill any holes 5 feet away from you. Good (JPR187, 353) 25-50
*6603-301 C.P. CROSSMAN & CO. patented auger handle. 12" size, nicely turned wooden handles with brass center that is stamped with name and "Patented November 1850." Some chips in wood and slight tarnish in spots on brass but overall nice. Good (HOO20) 20-40
6603-302 Lot of two small vises. Machinists vise marked only "Pat Appl'd For" with grease pad in small circular screw-on base, and a small japanned bench-mounted one with 1-1/2" jaws, marked "Pat June 1885 H&B" that looks barely used. Good+ (ESY12) 30-60
*6603-303 SARGENT saw vise. Cast No. 90 and Sargent on front jaw, 95 on back jaw, japanning 60%, surface rust, could use a cleaning but looks to be all there. Good (MRA17) 20-40
*6603-304 Tire drill. Primitive looking version, unmarked except for "Pat Appl" and likely held in place by vise as no way to attach to a bench, square chuck turned by long handle with cracked wood grip. One side of threads flat, not sure if that was intentional or is damaged. Heavily covered with rust but I don't see any other visible damage. Good (MRA19) 20-40
*6603-305 O.W. BURRITT & BRO combination clamp and drill. Used by blacksmiths and wheelwrights primarily to drill holes for carriage and tire bolts, made by the Weedsport, NY, company and marked "Patent Applied For" but does not appear to have been granted. Cast iron body, approximately 17" across with holes in base to affix to bench. Handle rotates brass chuck toward moveable fork at other end. Rusty but could be cleaned up. Good (MRA18) 25-50
