6603-135 Lot of two scorps. First is unmarked but looks manufactured wit 70% of japanning remaining, one handed type with 8" single wood handle, cast iron body has 5" x 4" rectangular frame slightly bent in the middle with a bar and a 4" slightly curved blade in front that needs sharpening. Handle has a couple stains and checks, a few chips at the end. Plus an open type, also unmarked, 5" edge, nicely turned 5" handles with some wear and staining especially near brass ferrules. Pitting on metal and edge needs slight honing but is still sharp. Good (BSR496, 497) 40-80
6603-136 Lot of two fleshing knives. Both unmarked, a 2" one with most of its green japanning and a slight curve to the 16" edge, the other 1-1/2" with a more curved nearly 12" edge and traces of blue japanning. Green one has handles wrapped with wire and the other has aluminum ferrules and weld marks at edges of blade. Both handles have light wear and stains. Good (BSR728) 30-60

Mixed (SCK80) 75-150
6603-138 Lot of two double edged spokeshaves. First is a BONNEY'S patent, early version with "Tueles Pat Oct 27 63" stamped (partial) on bottom of shave, as shown on pg.183 in Lamond's book. Lamond discusses that a number of unknowns surround who manufactured this spokeshave, how Melzer Tuells' name was misspelled on the stamp, or why it came to be known as Bonney's patent. Designed with a triangular blade so that it may be used on both sides, this one has plain undersides of the handles, unlike some examples that are stamped "PAT" or "PAT/63" on the underside. Shows very light use, some spots of pitting but mostly clean, one screw is smaller and may be a replacement. Plus one with flat and concave cutters, marked only "Made in West Germany" on one cutter and also cast "60" on underside, japanning 80%. Good (CRT111, 161) 60-120
6603-139 Lot of two wooden spokeshaves. One is 13-1/2" long with double 2-1/2" blades held with four screws on the outside of body, and two bone guards on either side held in with pegs, a few hairline cracks in wood near bone, slightly curved handles and a hanghole in one. Splotch of blue paint in middle of body. And a similar looking one with one 3" wide prong blade but held in place with screws, similar bone guard with light wear to wood on either side, 11" wide total, hanghole in one end. Inside canvas sleeve with two pockets that hold two extra slighly rusty blades. Good (DCR129) 40-80
6603-140 Lot of four scrapers. Two STANLEY No. 82 cabinet scrapers, a Type 1 with staining on wood, japanning 80% with slight rust and screw may be a replacement, vee mark on cutter; and a Type 2 with worn handle, knob does not have same red stain as handle, blade has sweetheart mark, japanning 85% with few white paint splatters. Plus a No. 70 box scraper, handle has cracks and stains and is missing ferrule, japanning 85% and SR&L mark on cutter, screw is a replacement. And a STARRETT No. 194 swivel head scraper, missing top wood handle, bottom handle has heavy stain at top part and wear. Good (BSR495) 40-80
