Industrial Visit to Vijaya Mega Dairy Plant, Raviryal The students of our college had the opportunity to visit the Vijaya Mega Dairy Plant, Raviryal, a state-of-the-art milk processing facility spread across 40 acres in Ranga Reddy district. The visit provided valuable insights into modern dairy processing technologies and quality assurance practices. Students observed high-capacity processing units capable of handling 5 to 8 lakh litres of milk per day, ensuring efficient production and distribution. They gained knowledge about the Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) Processing Plant, which has a capacity of 1 lakh litres per day and produces long shelf-life dairy products. The visit also included the Ice Cream Manufacturing Unit, with a production capacity of 5,000 litres per day, showcasing advanced food processing techniques. Experts at the facility explained various stages of milk collection, pasteurization, packaging, storage, and quality control. The industrial visit enhanced students' understanding of food safety, dairy technology, and large-scale production management. It also bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial practices through practical exposure. The visit was highly informative and inspired students to appreciate technological advancements in the dairy industry and their role in promoting public health and nutrition.
