Jaya Shree Textiles, located in Rishra, West Bengal, is a pioneer in the Indian textile industry, specialising in linen production, and also one of the major wool manufacturers in India, using modern technology and expertise to transform wool fibres into luxurious wool tops and yarns. An industrial visit to Jaya Shree Textiles was organised on 31 August 2026 to provide students with first-hand knowledge and practical exposure to modern textile design and manufacturing practices. This industrial visit successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industrial practice, providing students with firsthand knowledge of textile manufacturing, safety, sustainability, and career opportunities in the textile sector.
