Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Birbhum is going to conduct a month-long National Programme, "KHET BACHAO" throughout Birbhum District from 1 June to 30 June 2026. The inaugural ceremony was held on 1 June 2026 at the ''Rathindra Krishi Vigyan Kendra (RKVK),'' Visva-Bharati, Sriniketan, at 11 a.m. Hon'ble MLA Labpur, ''Sri Debasis Ojha'' inaugurated the programme in the presence of the ''Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Visva-Bharati''. District officials, University professors and a large number of farmers participated in the programme.
