Visva-Bharati Library Network commenced its week-long (6-10 July, 2026) Research/Academic Skill Development Programme with the inaugural lecture on "Insights into Research Metrics" by Dr. Shiva Kanaujia Sukula, Deputy Librarian, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Central Library, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The lecture offered participants a deeper understanding of citation-based indicators and the responsible use of research metrics in academia.The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from researchers, faculty members, librarians, and students, marking a promising beginning to a week of enriching academic learning.
