~*6701-019 European style roughing plane. 12 inches long with 2-1/2 inch WILLIAM ASH cutter but body unmarked. Front and back handles, made of what looks like beech, age checks in body and wedge. Good (BSR425) 25 - 50 ~6701-020 Lot of two primitive planes. An unmarked wedge arm tongue plane with initials AWB carved on top, brass ferrules may be replacements, skate nailed onto body and 1/4 inch cutter made from file, arms attached to fence with large flat-head screws. Short wedge that curves forward, some age checks and wear. And a gutter plane, 15-1/2 inch long, unmarked 5/8 inch curved cutter, wedge has shim glued to it to help tighten fit. Some stains, cracking at throat, inactive worm, tote has repaired crack at base. Good- (HAN) 30 - 60 ~6701-021 Primitive tongue plane. Looks European with thick side handle style fence with metal rod arms, several locking screws with flat wide wingnuts including for two depth stops, nicker and cutter made from files, tote has short horn which may have broken off a long time ago. Good (BSR455) 40 - 80 ~6701-022 European combination tongue and groove plane. Unmarked except for IS initials in a few places, pull handles in front and rear, inactive worm, skate on groove side nailed into body with square head nails. Nice age patina. Good (NHF5) 30 - 60 ~6701-023 Lot of two European horned roughing planes. Both have diamond shaped dots stamped on the body, one stamped much more than the other plus SS initials. One with 1-5/8 cutter marked what looks like JNH, and the other 2 inch WARD cutter. Some age wear and dings. Good (HAN593) 30 - 50 ~6701-024 Lot of two horned roughing planes. Likely European, both with 1-5/8 inch cutters and one extremely spalled on end and other marked JNH. Some wear. Good (HAN592) 30 - 50 ~*6701-025 Butt mortise plane. Carved F. Schiedeck into one cheek, 10-1/2 inch x 2 inch beech body, 7/16 inch cutter marked 12. Slot has been filled in with 2-3/4 inch piece of wood so leaves 1/4 inch mouth. Some stains and wear, spot of grey paint on wedge. Good (DTN387) 20 - 40 ~6701-026 Primitive European panel raiser. At least that is what the sole most closely resembles. 8 inch long body with 2 inch skewed cutter marked "Warranted Good Quality Sheffield." Fence mounted on arms and locked with wedges that go through the top. Fence and body stamped LVO. Age wear and some chewing of fence wedges. Good (NHF4) 30 - 60
