Telangana State Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao gets place in Bharath World Records & World Records,confirmed by Bharath World Record’s President Lion KV Ramanaa Rao Bharath World Records President Lion KV Ramana Rao announced that the famous Balapur Laddu auction is being organised every year by the Balapur Ganesh Utsav Samithi and got Registered in Bharath World Records last year. The Balapur Laddu auction which is organised every year as part of the Bhagyanagar Maha Ganapathi Celebrations is now became world famous. The World recrods Committee is giving an opportunity to Register the Balapur Ganesh utsav Samithi every year in the World Records and also laddu Prasadam Winner in Auction every year will be Registered in the World Records and Bharath World Records. The proceeds of the money collected through auction are being spent on various social service programmes and for the development of Various Temples.The Balapur laddu is believed to have many divine qualities. In 1994 one devotee purchased the Laddu in auction for Rs 450. From then onwards, every year during the Maha Ganapti celebrations, the laddu is auctioned in public and proceeds are being used for the development temples and other religious and philanthropic programmes. This year, MLC from Cuddapah district Ramesh Yadav along with his friend Marri Shashank Reddy won the auction and paid Rs 18.90 Lakh and the money is being used for the welfare programmes and development of the temple, said by K Niranjan Reddy,S. Srinivas Reddy. Last year in 2020, due to the Corona Pandemic, the laddu auction was cancelled and it was given as a gift to CM Sri KCR by the Balapur Ganesh Utsav Samithi organisers.
