11-13-2017 Important Issues Southern California Gardeners are Facing Today with Nicholas Staddon. Nicholas has been working with plant breeders, hybridizers, and professional plant explorers for the past 15 years. He has scoured the globe for new creations and discoveries in the plant world. Nicholas is also sought out as a resource and guest for television and radio gardening shows across the United States. He received his credentials in England at the Otley Agricultural College. His professional affiliations include the Royal Horticultural Society, Mount San Antonio College, and the Mediterranean Garden Society. Nicholas has created a series of informative "Plant Savvy" videos that can be found online. Topics include: issues American gardeners are facing today, invasive plants, water conservation, the plight of pollinators, and what the solutions might be.
