IUCN West Asia 9th Regional Conservation Forum (RCF) Held at Kuwait 9th till 12th of September 2019- September 11th, The third and last day, two interactive parallel sessions where participating members discussed themes of high priority for the West Asia Region and highlighted the importance of sharing experiences and creating linkages among initiatives for the purpose of amplifying the benefits of all the programmes implemented. Key presentations were delivered by IUCN Program Managers "Nature-based solutions for Water Management & Climate Change Resilience" by Mr. Ali Hajneh, "Platforms for Stakeholders Dialogue toward Healthy Rangelands" by Ms. Rania Al Zoubi, " Ocean & Plastic" by Mr. Ziad Samaha, "Towards Representative, Connected & Climate Resilience Networks of Protected Areas in West Asia" by Ms. Natalia Boulad. Final Session of the Forum included IUCN National Committees' Presentations from Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait & UAE. Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ahmad delivered the closing speech of the forum, H.E. Ibrahim Al-Shahahdeh returned a vote of thanks to the host country for their hospitality.
