The Department of Psychology, Mohamed Sathak College of Arts and Science, visited the Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar, Chennai on 18th September, 2025. Mrs. Revathi, Psycho-oncologist, explained cancer, treatments, psychological challenges faced by patients, and the psychologist’s role. Mr. Divyaraj Prabhakar, Psychologist led a session on tobacco cessation, and Mrs. Deepika, Psychologist demonstrated psychological assessments and counseling role-play to handle cancer patients
