A few words about my artwork I love texture and it is visible in almost all my work. I use often pallet knives together with other tools (kitchen, garden etc) to explore possibilities and to see what kind of effect I can achieve. All my work is done in Acrylic with heavy use of Medium, Gels, Modeling Paste etc. I love color and I am always trying to create many minute tonal differences, brought out through the use of metal, iridescent, opalescent, translucent colors mixed in. Depending how light hits the painting, color seems to be changing or a different color comes to the foreground, you might have not notice before. I create by intuition and I let the canvas speak to me. I like to work with acrylic skins, and or incorporate modelling paste to build up impasto. Whatever comes to mind I will try it out. All paintings are varnished, mostly with a matte finish.
